Authentic Love Lab ("we", "us", "our") operates the communication assistant service available at 5-messages.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
- Account information: your email address and an encrypted password when you create an account.
- Conversation content: the messages, screenshots, or situation descriptions you paste or type into the Service so that we can generate a response for you.
- Onboarding answers: the quiz responses you provide so we can tailor the assistant to your situation.
- Usage data: basic analytics such as pages viewed, features used, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive a token, your subscription status, and billing metadata.
2. How we use your data
- To generate AI responses and analyses you ask for.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To send you transactional email (receipts, trial reminders, account notices).
- To detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms.
3. Your conversations
Conversations and screenshots you submit are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored encrypted at rest. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your conversations with advertisers. We do not use your conversation content to train third-party foundation models.
4. Third parties we use
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Our AI provider — to generate analyses and replies from your input. Content sent for inference is governed by their enterprise data terms and is not used to train their models.
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage hosting.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to measure ad performance. You can opt out via your ad settings or by blocking the pixel.
5. Data retention
We retain your account and conversation history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep records for tax, legal, or fraud-prevention reasons.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Residents of California (CCPA), the EEA, and the UK (GDPR) have additional rights including the right to data portability and the right to object to certain processing. 7. We do not sell personal data
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app before they take effect.
