Welcome to Authentic Love Lab. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What the Service is

The Service is an informational, AI-powered communication-assistance tool. It helps you think through messages and conversations. It is not professional, legal, medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. It is not a substitute for a licensed professional. If you are in crisis or considering harm to yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.

2. Your responsibility for your decisions

You are solely responsible for the messages you send, the decisions you make, and how you use any output generated by the Service. The assistant's suggestions are starting points, not instructions.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, manipulate, or harm another person.
• Generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, or sexually exploitative of minors.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service.
• Submit another person's private information without their consent.

4. Accounts

You must be at least 18 to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us at 5-messages@support.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation. Always use your own judgment before sending a message or taking action.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe and renew automatically. See our Subscription & Pricing Terms and Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

7. Intellectual property

We own the Service, including its software, design, and branding. You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of operating the Service for you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Authentic Love Lab and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of relationships, income, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
